So.. it’s been a long time since we updated this site it seems. Life can make that happen. Here’s a snippet of a shoot I did last year with the incredible Fujifilm GFX 50. It’s been a while since we’ve used a medium format camera other than our CFV/500C combo, and the results were most satisfactory to say the least.
Main takeaway from this shoot though?
When you’ve hit the spot with your lighting, resist the urge to tinker with anything else (other than focus) and grab a few more frames. We got great lighting on the first frame, and then tried to improve it just a tad by shifting a light and our subject. Needless to say, we never quite got the same effect back.
Still, I think we all quite liked the results nonetheless!
